3.0L V6 TDI Primary Cat Delete Downpipe — VW Touareg / Audi Q7 / Porsche Cayenne (2009–2016)

The primary catalytic converter on the 3.0L V6 TDI in the Touareg, Q7, and Cayenne sits directly off the turbo, ahead of the DPF. It's a major source of backpressure and, over time, a failure point in its own right. This downpipe removes it completely with a direct-fit 3" stainless replacement — the first pipe in the delete stack and the natural starting point before touching the DPF or SCR sections.

Fabricated from 3" 304 stainless steel with full interior backpurge on every TIG weld. Backpurging displaces oxygen from inside the tube during welding, eliminating the oxidation (sugaring) that weakens welds and creates corrosion points over time. Most exhaust fabricators skip this step. We don't.

Modular by design — bolts to factory flanges, compatible with OEM sections downstream or with our DPF Pipe and Secondary Cat/SCR Pipe for a full staged build. Upgrade just what you need.

Build It Out

Pair with our DPF Pipe (VAL-030-EXH-A011) and Secondary Cat/SCR Pipe (VAL-030-EXH-A012) for a complete modular exhaust delete. Each pipe is compatible with OEM sections on both sides.

Tune Requirement

This hardware kit requires an ECU tune to suppress fault codes and optimize fueling after install. Add a 3.0L V6 TDI ECU Tune to your order, or ask about the full Hardware + Tune Bundle.
