ECU Tuning Terms and Conditions

ECU Remapping Terms and Conditions

1. Customer Acknowledgement

By proceeding with an ECU remap, the customer acknowledges that they have read and understood these terms and that the remap is carried out at the customer's request and risk.

2. Vehicle Condition

The customer confirms that the vehicle is in good mechanical condition prior to tuning. Any pre-existing faults, wear, or damage to the engine, fuelling system, turbocharger, transmission, or other components are the customer's responsibility. Valios Dynamics reserves the right to decline to tune a vehicle deemed unfit for modification.

3. Warranty

An ECU remap may void the manufacturer's vehicle warranty in full or in part. It is the customer's responsibility to understand the warranty implications for their specific vehicle. Valios Dynamics accepts no liability for warranty claims denied by a manufacturer or dealer as a result of the remap.

4. Emissions and Legal Compliance

The customer is responsible for ensuring their vehicle complies with all applicable emissions regulations and roadworthiness requirements in their jurisdiction. Stage 1 tunes retain emissions hardware. Any additional modifications that affect emissions compliance are the customer's sole responsibility. Delete services are sold for off-road use only.

5. Performance Results

Power and torque figures quoted are estimates based on typical results for the vehicle variant. Actual results vary depending on vehicle condition, fuel quality, ambient conditions, and other factors. No specific power output is guaranteed.

6. Liability

Valios Dynamics accepts no liability for mechanical failure, consequential damage, or loss of use arising from or related to the remap, except where caused directly by our negligence. Our maximum liability is limited to the cost of the remap service.

7. Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to decline, postpone, or halt a remap if the vehicle is found to have faults or conditions that make tuning inadvisable.

8. Mail-In ECU Service

For mail-in bench flash service: the customer is responsible for safe removal, packaging, and shipping of the ECU. Valios Dynamics is not responsible for damage caused during shipping. The customer assumes all risk of ECU removal and reinstallation unless performed by Valios Dynamics directly.

9. Data

We retain a copy of your original ECU file for backup purposes. This file is not shared with third parties.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
