The 3.0L Duramax LM2 in the 2019-2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 has a coolant circuit that most EGR delete kits get wrong. A basic delete just swaps in a U-hose where the EGR cooler was, which strips out the cooler's flow resistance entirely. Since that same coolant line feeds the turbo, removing that resistance lets coolant bypass the turbo's more restrictive inlet and dump straight into the outflow loop, starving the turbo of the flow it was engineered around.
This kit's coolant reroute block is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum with a tuned flow path that matches the OEM EGR cooler's original resistance, so the turbo keeps the coolant flow it needs. That matters most once you're running a tune and pushing the turbo toward its limit.
