Yes - this one is non-negotiable. If you're running an ECU tune and an EGR delete, the DPF pipe is mandatory. The Diesel Particulate Filter will clog. When it does, your engine runs inefficiently at best and not at all at worst. This is the first pipe in the delete stack and the one you cannot skip.
The 3.0L V6 TDI is a smooth, capable engine - but its DPF and EGR systems are a chronic maintenance problem. Clogged filters, failed sensors, and costly regen cycles are par for the course. This delete pipe removes the DPF section with a clean, direct-fit replacement - only what needs to go, nothing more.
Fabricated from 3" 304 stainless steel with full interior backpurge on every TIG weld. Backpurging displaces oxygen from inside the tube during welding, eliminating the oxidation (sugaring) that weakens welds and creates corrosion points over time. Most exhaust fabricators skip this step. We don't.
Modular by design - bolts to factory flanges, compatible with OEM sections on both sides or with our SCR Delete Midpipe and Secondary Cat Delete Pipe for a full staged build.
Pair with our SCR Delete Midpipe (030-EXH-A007) and Secondary Cat Delete Pipe (030-EXH-A008) for a complete modular exhaust delete. Each pipe is compatible with OEM sections on both sides.
