Do I need this?

Mixed opinions on this one — here's the honest rundown. This is technically your Selective Catalytic Reducer — the component that actually does the NOx reduction chemistry using urea (AdBlue/DEF). Without DEF flowing through it, it doesn't do much chemically. However: it will reduce exhaust noise, and it can suppress some of the smell that comes with a full delete. The catch is clogging — without active DEF injection, carbon deposits can build up in the substrate over time. Results are genuinely varied. Some people run it indefinitely with no issues. Others clog it. If you want a fully clean system with no variables, delete it. If you want to keep some noise and smell reduction and are willing to monitor it, leaving it in is a reasonable call.

Same fabrication standard as every pipe in our exhaust line: 3" 304 stainless steel, fully backpurged TIG welds on every joint. Designed to bolt directly to OEM flanges or to our SCR Delete Midpipe upstream.
